| Description: | I've brewed a number of Saisons recently and I've been wanting to add spices, but I've been a bit scared to at the same time. After chatting with some other home brewers, I decided that making some spice extracts would be better than throwing random amounts of spices into the kettle and hoping for the best. This will give me greater control as I can spice to taste at bottling/kegging time. You are looking at (from left to right) Cardamom, Orange Peel, Ginger Root, Coriander & White Pepper. I mixed 2/3 cup of vodka w/ approx 1.5oz of each. |
