Masters Championship of Amateur Brewers
In 2012 the America's Finest City Homebrew Competition is a
Masters Championship of Amateur Brewering Qualifying Event!

QUAFF announces the 21th annual AFCHBC will be held next March in San Diego.

The beer, cider and mead style guidelines for entries are found on the BJCP website, The AFC organizer reserves the right to promote certain BJCP sub-categories with large numbers of entries to full category status and award medals without prior entrant notice (e.g. Russian Imperial Stout could become its own category if a huge number of entries received).

The competition judging sessions will be held in the same location as the past several years: St. Dunstan's Church in San Diego.
(You can find general entry information here)

Medals will be awarded to the first, second and third place finishers in each category, as well as a special award for 'Best of Show', both for beer and for cider/mead, and for the 'Brewing Machine'- the homebrewer with the most awards from all categories.

We look forward to you entering your homebrews and/or registering to judge or steward for the competition.

Good food, good friends, good beer---
Spend this February weekend in San Diego.
